Timothy W. Burns - age 68, of Cony Apartments, died unexpectedly on Oct. 2, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Augusta, ME on Oct. 9, 1949 the son of John G. Burns and Mary (Farrell) Burns.
Tim was educated in Augusta, and he earned his Associate Degree from the University of Maine at Augusta.
He was predeceased by his parents, by two brothers, John “Tardy” Burns and Michael D. Burns; by two nephews. Robert Gary Burns and John Robert Burns and a niece, Chrisanne M. Burns.
Surviving are two sons: Daniel F. Burns of Augusta, ME and Ryan Burns of Pittston, ME; one brother, Gary Burns and his wife Carolyn of Augusta, ME; three grandchildren: Kadie Burns, Riley Burns and Sam Richardson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday Oct. 12th at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Ave., Augusta, ME. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manchester, ME.
