Charles M. “Chuck” “Tike” Felton, 73, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died September 28, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Cheyenne.

Chuck was born March 1, 1945, in Alton, Illinois.

Chuck served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War where he played an important role in developing the MARS Station at Ft. Riley, Kansas. His expertise also led to the research and development at NIST in Boulder, Colorado and much of the digital technology that we use today. His many interests included rebuilding old tube radios and listening to music. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Teresa Felton; six children, Melanie (Chris) Walters-Miney, Tarl Walters, Jessie (Bonnie) Walters, Erin Hedrick, Tyler (Gemma) Felton and Travis Felton; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at St. Mary’s Cathedral.
