Piscataway – Gloria C. Pirigyi, 86, died Saturday October 6, 2018 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Gloria resided in Perth Amboy before settling to Piscataway Township where she cared for her family of six. A true caregiver at heart, Gloria worked as a nurse’s aide in St. Peter’s University Hospital prior to her retirement.
She thoroughly enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping and mowing her lawn. Gloria also enjoyed going to the gym and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband, Francis Pirigyi and a daughter, Frances Wallace – Pirigyi; surviving are her three children, Daniel Pirigyi, Cynthia Ielmini and Larry Pirigyi as well as her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, Dawn, Laura, Diane, Jessica and LeeAnn and great grandchildren, Marcello, Daniel, Alexzander, Arianna, Aubrey, Xavier, Eli and Brayton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road Piscataway NJ 08854 from 2-5PM. Cremation will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gloria’s memory to the ASPCA, www.aspca.org/donate
