John Lipoff, of US Highway 441, Okeechobee, FL, formerly of Franklin St., Springville, died Friday October 5, 2018 in Raulerson Hospital, Okeechobee at the age of 90.

He was born July 5, 1928 in Sardinia, New York a son of the late John and Veronica (nee Czurchy) Lipoff. He was a graduate of Arcade High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was the Supervisor for the Village of Springville Electric Department and was a 54 year member of the Springville Volunteer Fire Department.

He was also a member of the Springville American Legion, Springville Field & Stream Club, enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a Bills fan.

His wife - Esther M. (nee Wells) Lipoff passed away May 12, 2010.

He is survived by his children - Connie (Frank) Strianese of Springville, Dennis (Karen Lawrence) Lipoff of Springville, Nancy (David) Yager of Hamburg; grandchildren - Abel (Joanne) Lipoff, Dustin (Jessica Wiess) Strianese, Dawn Strianese; great-grandchildren - William and Brayden Lipoff and several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Monday October 15, 2018 at 10 am in Maplewood Cemetery, Springville.
