It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Mahler on October 12, 2018 in his 71st year. Loving brother of Ann Rowe (the late Jim), George Mahler (Frances), and the late Robert (Joyce). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adam and Bernadette Mahler. David was a retired employee of Stelco with 39 years of service. He will be lovingly remembered for his passion of baseball, bowling, and fishing. At the family’s request, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Parish on Thursday, October 18th at 10am. A private burial will take place at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On-line condolences can be made to www.dermodys.com
