Thomas J. Pettit, 76, of Wappingers Falls, passed away October 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in Poughkeepsie July 21, 1942, the son of Earl and Elizabeth Hrubochak Pettit. On Oct 10, 1964, he was married to Dorothy J. Macomber Pettit who died Jan. 15, 2015. Mr. Pettit served in the Navy from '59 to '62. He was employed at Indian Point (Entegy) in Buchanan until his retirement. Surviving are his children, Kenneth Pettit (Patty) of Poughkeepsie, Lori Savino, Hopewell Junction, Jodi Pettit, Wappingers Falls,, Grandchildren, Kenneth Pettit, Jr., Thomas Gallagher, Justin Pettit. Kyle Pettit, Dante Schiavo, and a greatgrandchild, Hunter Pettit, Brothers, Richard Pettit, of LaGrange, Josh"Butch" Pettit, Arkansas, Robert Pettit, Wappingers Falls, Sisters, Rose Halpin, Arkansas, Betty Ann Tommassini, Fishkill, and several nieces and nephews.
