Donald L. Dick of Yorkshire, NY died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his residence at the age of 83.

He was born August 10, 1935 in Clymer, PA a son of the late Ellis and Lois (Naugle) Dick. He was a member of the Clear Lake, WA Fire Department for 21 years and attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Yorkshire. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, story telling and jokes.

He was a dairy farmer for 21 years in Clear Lake, Washington.

He is survived by his children: Laurie (Roger Frazier) Dahl of Placentia, CA, Theodachia (Michael) Cartwright of Mt. Vernon, WA, Charlene Turner of Mt. Vernon, WA; his siblings: Janet (Bruce) Kramer of Arcade, Shirley (Late William) Rhoades of Yorkshire, Charles (Delores) Dick of Arcade, Leah "Cook" (Norm) Wiedemann of Sardinia, Dennis (Violet) Dick of Sardinia, Wanda (Late Jack) McKeon of Pauldon, AZ, and Sharon (Jack) Tousley of Arcade; his grandchildren: Jennifer Frazier, Heather Boudereau, Lindsey Cartwright, Shannon Myiou, Christopher Turner and Lee Turner; his great-grandchildren: Maizee Grace and Brynlee Turner, Becky Dahl Boudereau and Dany Boudereau; also survived by Marva's three living children: Valerie (Late Dennis) Wolfer of Arcade, Carla (Beth Dziekan) Klein of Yorkshire, Teresa (John) Board of Kentucky; also survived by his sister-in-law: Sylvia Dick of Sinclairville, many nieces and nephews and his shihtzu - Scooter.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Audrey Hoffman who passed away in 2008; his second wife: Marva Engels-Dick who passed away July 11, 2017; his twin brother - Ronald Dick and his sister - Brenda Dick.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11 am in the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3113 Route 39, Yorkshire, NY 14173. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
