My Dad was such a wonderful father when I was growing up. He was a star pitcher in the minor leagues in Chaffee and I loved listening to all the great stories about that part of his life. We lived on a farm and my father was so loving and caring for all nature. He taught me to hunt and fish as well as shoot a gun and actually hit the targets! He was a man of great patience and care when it came to all of us but also held us very accountable for our actions which has carried me through my life making choices and decisions. I gained a lot of knowledge and responsibility growing up as I was always out with the animals and my horse that I surprised dad with! Yikes! We bonded closer and I loved to go hunting and fishing with him. I don’t feel like he’s gone anymore but that he has entered my heart alongside God and Mom to always be with me in my memories that I always treasure. I know he is in a way better place and for that I am thankful. My Dad was a great father and I will love him and be proud of him always. Forever in my heart, Your Daughter Laurie❤️
