Catherine J. Deselich, 63 of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Wednesday October 31, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Catherine was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Matawan and Englishtown, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ 3 1/2 years ago. She was a parishioner of both Our Lady of Mercy in Englishtown, NJ and St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Catherine was a Para Professional for Spotswood Elementary School in Spotswood, NJ.
Catherine is predeceased by her parents James and Catherine Parnell.
Surviving is her husband Anthony Deselich of Berkeley Twsp., NJ; her children James Deselich of Hopatcong, NJ, Robert Deselich of Bayonne, NJ, Katelyn Martinez of Manchester, NJ and Alexis Deselich of Toms River, NJ; her siblings Dennis Parnell of Derwood, MD, Maureen Amato of Manchester, NJ and Barbara Adams of Queens, NY and her grandchildren Marcelo, Carina and Bennett.
Family will receive friends on Monday November 5, 2018 from 3-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
