Services for Brenda M. Blanchard will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Simmesport United Pentecostal Church with Rev. John Holloway officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in the Simmesport United Pentecostal Church Cemetary under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home.

Ms. Blanchard, a native of Opelousas and a resident of Simmesport, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Ambrose (Tobe) Blanchard of Church Point, LA, step-father & mother, Joseph & Jeanne Cormier Douget of Eunice, LA, and sister, Loretta Blanchard of Opelousas, LA. She is survived by her former husband & father of her children: Billy Munson of Batchelor, LA. Her sister: Margie Madere (Lawrence) Madere of Pontchatoula, LA. Her children: Monique (Tutie) Munson (Timmy Sayer) of Marksville, LA, Tina McDaniel (Shawn) of Beaumont, TX, Ty Munson of Ball, LA, Toby Munson (Shannon) of Simmesport, LA and two step-daughters: Rozena (Peanut) Domingue (Shane) of Youngsville, LA & Wanda Kimble (Carl) of Simmesport, LA, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
