Zachary I. Comp, 25, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Thursday, January 28, 1993 in Carlisle, he was a son of Randy E. Comp, of Carlisle, and Robert and Kathleen Murphy Riess, Shippensburg.

Zachary was a 2012 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, and attended the Elim Bible Institute, Elim, NY. He was presently employed as a Home Health Aide for Angels on Call, and also worked at Hot Point Inn, where he was known as DJ Zach Attack.

Zach was a member of the Moose Family Center # 842, Chambersburg. He was an avid hunter, and loved music and singing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by six brothers, Alex D. Comp, Shippensburg, Justin R. Riess, Chad R. Bayer, Danny and Marcus T. Cross, and Matthew Shifflett, all of Waynesboro; and paternal grandparents, Donald and Elaine Swain, of Carlisle, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his brother, Brian Shifflett, paternal grandfathers, Raymond Comp, and Jack W. Riess, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Lester and Edna Stouffer, and maternal great grandmother, Alice Mahon.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, with Pastor Kurt Kimmel, Pastor Steve Gibb, and Pastor Adam Landon officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
