Anyone who knew Eugene knew his love for his granddaughter was endless. She brought him tremendous joy in the time they spent together. Eugene was known for his sense of humor and will be remembered as someone who could always make you smile and laugh. In addition, Eugene was incredibly bright and enjoyed a good discussion and debate as much as he enjoyed a good joke. He was a passionate and dedicated teacher in the area of Continuing Education for adults; previously at Dutchess Community College and currently at Dutchess County BOCES.
Eugene loved campin and fishing. Friends and family willremember his many camping trips to the Adirondacks. In recent years he shared these two favorite past times with his beloved granddaughter Athena.
Eugene will always be remembered for his big smile, kind-hearted nature, his goofy sense of humor, and his love for teaching.
