Patty Sue Harris, age 67, of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Wednesday (November 7, 2018) in an Abingdon, Virginia nursing facility. Born February 22,1951 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Garnett William and Lola Belle Harris. She had spent most of her life in the Honaker area and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville Lee Harris, J.T. Harris, Chester Harris, and Claude Allen Harris.
Survivors include two brothers, David Harris and wife, Millie, and Robert Harris all of Honaker; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Fred Reynolds and Rev. Steve Perkins officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Frank Smith Cemetery on Big A Mountain, Virginia. Those wishing to attend are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Saturday.
