Mr. William (Bill) Cauthen 74 years old went to be with the Lord on Nov. 7, 2018. He loved to work on lawn mowers and talk on the CB radio. He went by the handle Cough Drop. He loved to read western and watch westerns on the inspiration channel. He was a member of Park Ridge Baptist Church. He also had been attending College Park Baptist Church for the last 15 years until his health started to decline. He sang in the choir at Park Ridge Baptist Church for many years. He witnessed to others to see if they were Christian's not just a church member. The last few weeks he was in the hospital and rehab, he would ask the nurses and others that came in his room if they were a Christian. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Cauthen. Brother of the late Olin Cauthen. He leaves his loving wife of 40 years Marylee Cauthen. One sister Martha Thompson (Bob) and many nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at College Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at College Park Baptist Church and other times at the home of Ray & Lillian Peeler, Harmony Road, Catawba, SC. In lieu of flowers donations to The American Heart Association.
