Stanley J. Mockus, 60, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Stan was born March 17, 1958 to Beverly (Gillich) Mockus of Vernon, CT and Stanley L. Mockus of Florida. Stan was raised and attended school in East Hartford, CT, lived in Vernon, CT and Manchester, CT before moving to Florida. Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Nicole Mockus of Vernon, CT, sister, Sharon Hartigan and her husband Michael, 3 nephews all of New Jersey, his uncle Wesley and aunt Rochelle Mockus of Vermont; and several cousins and second cousins in the Northeast. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph Gillich and Genevieve (Bolieau) Lewis and paternal grandparents Stanley F. and Eva Mockus, all of CT. Relatives and friends may join the family on Thursday, November 15, 2018 between 10:30am-11:30am at the Small & Pietras Funeral Home, 65 Elm Street, Rockville, CT.
