CONBOY - John L., M.D. - November 9, 2018- Beloved husband of the
late Anne I. (nee Mohr) Conboy. Devoted father of Mary Conboy,
J. Mark (Susan), Christopher (Lynn), Eva (late Arthur) Talatinian-Conboy of
Burlington, MA, Joseph of Houston, TX, Teresa (Timothy Smith) Conboy of
Seattle, WA, Thomas Conboy, M.D. (Ellen) and Sheila (Frederick Gass,
M.D.) Conboy. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren. Dear brother of the late Thomas Joseph. Also survived by nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. MERTZ AND
SON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 911 Englewood Ave. for Memorial Visitations
Tuesday, November 13th from 3-8 p.m. All are invited to attend a Mass of
Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave.,
Kenmore, NY 14223, on Wednesday, November 14th at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of
flowers, donations welcome in John’s memory to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum

To the Family of Dr.John Conboy...I'm so very sorry for your great loss. As a nurse at KMH I worked with Dr Conboy for many years and it was always such a pleasure. He was a wonderful physician, so kind and caring...and always a perfect gentleman. We greatly missed him when he left us. I will keep him and all of you in my prayers.

Had an altercation with Mark after school in 7th grade and I went too far. Later when I approached Dr. Conboy to apologize I expected to get lambasted. Instead he greeted me, "Hello Doug." I apologized and he accepted. Wonderful Husband and wife, beautiful family. Rest in peace Dr. Conboy.

To the Conboy Children -

I am sure it is no surprise to you to hear about all the wonderful accolades about your father. He was an exceptional man, an excellent doctor and most of all he loved his children. He was so proud of each of your accomplishments. Dr. John was my family physician for many, many years and he broke our hearts when he retired. He was very difficult to replace. We remained friends for all these years. I will miss the little chats we had, but I am sure he is happiest now being with your Mom. He missed her so much and she was a sweetheart, too.

To The Family of Dr. Conboy.......I remember the first time I met Dr. Conboy, in the ER at Kenmore Mercy in 1968. After that I became a patient and enjoyed having him as my Doctor He was also so friendly and calming thru my many issues. When he stepped back from his private practice to venture into something new, I was so sorry to lose him.

Now we have all lost him. My deepest condolences to his family at this time of loss and sorrow, I pray the Heavenly Father will extend His loving arms over all of you and rain down his mercy and peace. May my friend, Dr John Conboy rest in peace and may His perpetual light shine down upon him.

(My brother is Dennis P Heimback, MD and he was the one to call Dr.Conboy in to take care of me that first time)
