James J. Keem of Arcade, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at his residence at the age of 65.

He was born November 18, 1952 in Arcade and was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (nee Davis) Keem.

He was a dairy farmer and took over the family farm in 1974 and owned and operated Triple J Acres Farm in Arcade until he sold out in 1999. He then opened J&K Sales and Service in Arcade and eventually added the sales of guns and ammunition in 2012.

Jim was on the Agway board, the ACSC board and enjoyed collecting and restoring John Deere tractor's. He also belonged to the Western New York Two Cylinder Club and the New York Two Cylinder Expo until 2015. He was an avid supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project.

He is survived by his wife - Barbara (Neamon) Keem whom he married on July 21, 1973 in Arcade; his children: Joshua (Michelle) Keem, Jason Keem and Jillian Keem all of Arcade; his siblings: Shirley (James) Morrissey of Machias, Carol (late Peter) Oliver of Port Orange, FL, and Joyce (late Charles) Salansky of East Aurora; three grandsons: David, Jamison and Brenton Keem who were his world; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister - Alice (John) Klimczak.

There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
