Joseph Raymond Martinez, 73, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 in Arlington, Texas.
Visitation for friends and family will be on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas, 76013.
Joe was born on May 4, 1945 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Rafael Anastacio and Tomacina (Garcia) Martinez.
He graduated from University of Kansas in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Aerospace studies and went on to earn a Masters Degree in Business Management. He worked for Lockheed Martin in the Missiles and Defense Department as the Manager of Financial Planning.
Joe is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Ellen (Mahlo) Martinez of Dallas; son, Christopher Joseph Martinez,and wife Shelley; daughter, Angela Michelle Metzger - Hill,
and husband, Michael Hill; sisters, Edna Jost, Dorothy Dominguez and Patricia Saito, and six grandchildren, Alexis, Ryder, Bailey Jo, Aubrey Michelle, Joseph Blade, and
Tami Ellen.
