Kathy Jean Whited Sayers, age 55, of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away Saturday (December 22, 2018) in a Richlands, Virginia hospital. Born October 25, 1963 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Jay L. and Ella Jearldine Stiltner Whited. She was a lifelong resident of the area and enjoyed crafting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sayers.
Survivors include one son, Jay L. Randall Sayers of the home; one sister, Nancy Wyatt of Swords Creek; two brothers, Henry Jay “Bo” Whited of Swords Creek and Donnie Edward Wade and wife, Carolyn of Richlands; one sister-in-law, Martha Sayers of Swords Creek; one nephew, Clayton Ricky Wyatt, II of Swords Creek; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Otis Floyd Musick. Entombment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, Virginia.
Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday.
