Obituary for Keith Higham

Keith Higham, 91, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Lewisville.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Saint Alban's Anglican Church, Arlington.
Memorials: Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County and St Albans Anglican Church in Arlington.
Keith was born on July 4th 1927 in Manchester England to Harold Woolf Higham and Jesse Able Higham. He served in the Royal Navy with the rank of Petty Officer aboard the HMS Theseus and sailed around the world after the war. In 1960 he came to Canada with his family to start a new life as an aeronautical engineer working for Canadair. After several moves over the next few years, he settled in Arlington, Texas in 1964 working for LTV where he and Betty raised their family. Keith retired in 1994 after 30 years of service.
Keith was a member of the Saint Alban's Church in Arlington for 54 years and was a member of the Saint Albans Altar Guild, Aged to Perfection, and served the Stephens Ministry.
He was also very involved with soccer in Arlington and was a founding member of the Arlington Soccer Association serving as a coach for many years.
Keith loved returning home to England, visiting friends and relatives, European travel and cruising; his favorite being the Alaskan cruises. He loved their annual family reunion at Lake Ouachita, Arkansas. Family gatherings at home were very important to him.
Survivors: Children, Roger and wife, Janis, Peter and wife, Karen, Michael and wife, Maureen and Lindsey Jane and husband, Ray; grandchildren, Kristy and husband Eric, Benjamin and wife, Jessica, Kelsey, Serge, Jack, Andrew, Spencer, Gabriele, Amanda and Katrina and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Colton, Emerson and Myles.
