I am eternally grateful for the Gift of 72 years of special friendship with Jim (he was Francis in grades 3,4 and 5)and my head and heart are filled with great memories of him that will last forever. Things were right when I would see Jim and Myra on a golf cart(for the longest time, the old green beast) on the golf course. It wasn't that long ago that Jim spent his summers working there, after his career with Sherman.
The curling club was a second winter home to both of you, and many a night was spent with friends at the Double HH Bar downstairs.
I was honoured to have joined Jim when he played men's night at Haileybury Golf Club just after his 80th birthday. He was recognized that night for over 45 years membership.
I am certain he has caught up with Dad, George, Bill, and Bob and they are enjoying a beverage or two.

Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection.
