Condolence From: John T. & Mary Lou Reim #1791, NJSP
Condolence: Dear Elizabeth and all the members of Lou's loving family. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences. Lou was a SPECIAL man, Marine, and Trooper! He will be truly missed by all who knew, loved, and respected him. Fortunately, between 1986-1990, while serving as a member of Col. Clinton Pagano's staff, I had the honor and privilege of working closely with Lou. He was a remarkable man! Rest in peace, Lou! Well done, Marine / Trooper!!! God Bless the Taranto family! ... Condolence From: William itinger
Condolence: Lou will be greatly missed by many people. He was a good friend of mine when he was stationed at the howell barracks we became very good friends, I as a member of Freehold Boro pd and being also a fireman I worked with Lou on a lot of arson cases. He was probably the most professional arson investigator I ever worked with in my 43 years on the fire service. He was like a pit bull never giving up until the outcome of any investigation was clear and thorough. Rest In Peace old friend

Condolence From: Jeff Quinn
Condolence: Extremely saddened to learn of Lou’s passing. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have become friends with Lou at Toms River Fitness. During the last several years, I looked forward to and enjoyed sharing stories and jokes with Lou. From his descriptive Atlantic City trips to his daily fantastic sense of humor, Lou always brought a smile to my face and made me laugh. Lou was truly a man among men. Lou will be unbelievably missed, however, never forgotten. Rest In Peace my friend.
