Dorothy N. Vinciguerra of Warwick, PA passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old.
Dorothy was the loving wife of Dominic A. Vinciguerra for 62 years.
Born in South Philadelphia, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Percy and Florence Schaffer.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her three sons: Bruce “Rocky” (Janice), Mark (Kathie), and Craig (Helen) Vinciguerra. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Brian, Anthony, Nicholas, Michael, Eric, Kristen, Mark Ryan, Craig Jr., Cole, and Gianna along with 11 great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Ruth “Aunt Dee” Schaffer, and adored grandson, Dominic Vinciguerra.
Dorothy’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 18th, 2019 at 11am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church: 1410 Almshouse Rd, Jamison, PA., where the family will receive friends from 10am until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to The Alzheimer's Association in Dorothy’s honor: www.alz.org
