Obituary for Daniel Paul "Danny" Yates

Daniel Paul Yates was called home on January 18, 2019 by a host of heavenly angles: including his wife Sandy Gunther Yates, his sister Nancy J. Yates, and parents Albert P. and E. Janis Yates, after a brave and noble battle with cancer.

Left to mourn and celebrate his life are his sisters Bonnie A. Yates and Susan B. Yates, and nieces Allyson A. Rodricks and Erica J. Forish as well as many dear friends and co-workers.

He was born on April 17, 1960 and grew up in Bloomfield, CT. He passed quietly at his home in West Suffield. He worked at Aquamasters of Granby as well as being a local realtor.

He always lived in the moment making people laugh along the way. His laughter will live on in all of us.

Daniel the Lionheart will be memorialized on Friday, January 25 at 1:00PM in the First Congregational Church of Bloomfield, followed by the burial at Mountainview Cemetery, Bloomfield. Please Meet at Church. Heritage Funeral Home has care of the arrangements, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, CT.

He also leaves behind 6 cats, Roscoe, Tootsie, Norton, Red, Tommy and Baby Girl, who will miss him dearly. They were all rescues, the last of many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Halfway Home Cat Rescue: P.O.Box 614, Chicopee, MA 01021. Online condolences please visit: www.SuffieldFuneralHome.com
