Peacefully, Brian passed away at home with his wife Joanne at his side. Brian, in his 76th year, was the beloved husband of Joanne (Murphy) for 50 years. Loving father of Christine (Rob) Brodie, Craig (Jaime) Hough, Paul (Julie) Hough. Beloved Grandfather of Aidan, Calum, Georgia Hough and Lauren Brodie. Beloved son of the late Donald and Mary Lou Hough. Brother to sisters Judith (Nelson)Auger and Donna (Ross) Arnold and brother-in-law of Harry, John (Mary), Patricia (Matthew), Ron, Vernon, Jean-Luc and the late Bryan, Marie, Robert & Lynne. He will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, January 28, 2019 at the Stoddart Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay, Ontario K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) from 2:00–4:00pm and 7:00–9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lindsay on Tuesday January, 29, 2019 at 11:00 am. Private interment later at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lindsay, Ontario. Donations in memory of Brian, may be made to St. Mary’s Restoration Fund or the United Way of the City of Kawartha Lakes.
