Beverly A. Stiner, 83
Beverly A. Stiner, 83 of Ashland passed away, Sunday morning, February 10, 2019 in the Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on April 9, 1935 to the late Charlie and Ethel (nee Schroeder) Fisher in Bellville, Ohio. Beverly graduated from Ashland High School, Class of 1948.
Beverly married the love of her life, Donald E. Stiner on March 13, 1955. She retired after more than 25 years from Ashland City Schools where she was a bookkeeper.
She was a devoted member of Peace Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and participated in the Dorkis sewing circle. Beverly enjoyed needlework, reading, and was an avid pen pal writer; a trade she started while in high school and continued throughout her life.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Donald E. Stiner of Ashland; two daughters, Brenda (Stan) Crist of Savannah and Lisa Stiner of Reynoldsburg; two grandchildren, Amy Beth (Adam) Wade of Lexington and Adam Michael Crist of Mechanicsburg; four great grandchildren, Lauryn, Carter, and Maddox, and Sawyer Wade; and one brother, Larry Fisher of Michigan.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Fisher.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Peace Lutheran Church, 1360 Smith Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Reverend Karen J. Liddy officiating. Interment will be in Ashland Cemetery on Friday. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 1360 Smith Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
