PETER, Genevieve Louise (nee Silvestri) – Peacefully on Friday, February 15th, 2019 in Welland in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Peter (2007). Loving mother of David Peter (Taeyeun Kim “Bonny”), Lorraine (Stephen Wigmore) and Janet Louise Peter. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Evan and Jaeho “Leo”. Loving sister of Anthony Silvestri and Joanne Silvestri. Genevieve is predeceased by her parents Erminio and Natalie Silvestri and her sister in law Joy. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street on Thursday, February 21st from 2-6 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held on Thursday at 5:45 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Parish, 300 Chaffey Street, Welland on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Sts. Peter & Paul R.C. Parish or the N.H.S.
