Obituary for Henry Beaulieu
BEAULIEU, Henry – November 4, 1928 – February 17, 2019
Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2019 in his 91st year. Henry was the beloved husband of Betty (nee Panetta) for 65 years, marrying in April, 1954. Loving father of John (Carmela) and Cathy. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa and Christopher. Dear brother of Pauline Chouinard (late Oliver) and Paul (Georgette). Predeceased by his parents Aurthur and Marie Beaulieu and siblings Raymond, Renie, Robert, Evétte Sauve, Mary Grenier Gruhl and Teresa Grenier. Henry worked as a roofer for Parent Roofing before becoming a custodian at Notre Dame High School until his retirement after 30 years. After retirement, he volunteered for the Welland Hospital Auxiliary. Henry was a long time member of the King Street Boys. The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, February 21st from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Cudney Chapel on Friday, February 22nd at 12:00 noon. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
