Services for Surjit Kaur Brar will be at 9:00am on the day of March 7th in the year 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria Louisiana with family and close friends. Visitation time will be from 9:30am to 10:30am on March 7th, 2019. Cremation will be at Alexandria Crematory, Alexandria Louisiana under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria Louisiana.
Surjit Kaur Brar, age 92, passed away Tuesday March 5th in the year of 2019 at 7:35am within her home at 4120 Mayflower Blvd, Alexandria LA 71303, USA.
Those left to cherish her memory include her 6 children, Gurmeet, Harmeet, Tirath (Kuckoo), Pritjit, Amarjit (Gurbir), and Ravinderjit (April), her 10 grandchildren, Sarabjit, Kamaljeet, Nirmaljeet, Simbaljeet, Sharonjeet, Harbir, Gajinder, Harsimran, Ravneet, Charlesjit, and 12 great grand kids, Khushi, Amol, Hersimrat, Dylan, Nia, Herleen, Herkirat, Balpreet, Sai, Jacob, Isabella, Balraaj.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pritam Singh Brar, and her parents.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked hard her entire life and raised six successful children. In her golden years, she was a woman of simple taste. The thing which gave her the greatest joy was the company and companionship of her loving family.
