Condolence From: John A. Iacuzzi
Condolence: Upon hearing the news of the passing of Laura Blankenship, I was momentarily frozen. Life will bring forth unexpected events, illuminating the brevity of our time upon this world and the unforeseen nature of occurrences. Memories played in my mind like movie clips of times gone by, from chapters in my life long ago passed. The early scenes of us as coworkers together at Community Memorial Hospital, socializing at Laura's apartment, skinny Jordache designer jeans at the Wine Cellar in Seaside Heights, as the 1980s ticked on by. The 1990s would reunite us once again in the dietary department of Bey Lea Village Nursing Home, as I was in college pursuing a PTA career. The 2000s would see us come together momentarily from time to time, if only for transitory events. Of course the uniqueness of Laura's one of a kind personality with its wit and humor will always stay with me. Laura , Thank You so much for inviting me into your life and in the process enriching mine. Though we had lost touch as our lives eventually diverged in different directions the special place you hold in my memory when our lives once intersected will be unforgotten. Your life force was indeed an exceptional one in all the lives your touched. May eternal peace be yours.

Condolence: I was deeply saddened to hear about Laura's passing today. My heartfelt condolences to her son Joey and the rest of her family.

I first met Laura in 1979 when we worked together at CMH (now CMC). Laura was a dear friend through much of the eighties before I moved away and we eventually lost touch. I often think of her and how much she ment to me. She will forever have a special place in my heart.
God Bless You, Laura.
Rest In Peace.
