Condolences

Condolence From: Yvonne
Condolence: I was lucky enough to have played golf for a while with Karen. She was one of a kind, and we had so much fun. One winter it was so cold that she was trying to light one of those charcoal sticks to put in a hand warmer, and her thumb nail caught fire. We were laughing so hard we barely had enough breath to blow it out. My deepest sympathy for all of those who love and miss her.

Condolence From: Kathy and Rick Thomas
Condolence: We were very blessed to have a large family. Growing up there were good times and bad, but the good outweighed the bad. The neighborhood we were raised in only increased our siblings count (friends became family).the family motto in the neighborhood was “Mess with one Marti you mess with them all.”
Mom started a tradition of us all going ro the beach for the summer and when she passed you jumped in to continue that tradition. A few years back I started planning a beach with with my children. Family and friends. I will continue that and your children and Mike will always be welcome to come and enjoy and reminisce with us each year..Your pain is gone and you are “home” again with Mom, Dad, Elroy. Wesley and all the other family members that preceded you . Your death has left a hole in my heart that will be filled with memories. You were always there for me when things changed in my life and you introduced me to Rick and I will forever be Grateful for that. Loved you then, love you now and will love you always until we meet again in Heaven.

Condolence: Aunt Karen,

Thank you so much for including me from the time I was a kiddo in all of the great family fun. I’ll never forget all of the fun times we had at your house, from Thanksgiving to Christmas to birthdays to crawfish boils. What I wouldn’t do to share those times with you and the family all over again. Our family has been so blessed with so many wonderful, loving, caring and Influential men and women and you were certainly one of them to your husband, children, family and friends. That is the legacy you leave as Gretchen, Allison and Michelle will carry on in your name as beautiful, strong, courageous, loving women. Gone too soon in our eyes, but with purpose for the man upstairs is what I have to keep my faith in. Please watch over us and let us know your here with us - from time to time - along with the rest of the family up there, keeping us safe, healthy and strong in our faith. I love ya Karen!

Condolence From: Jenna
Condolence: Gosh I am going to miss you! I hope you know how much you meant to so many people. I hope you know how much you meant to me. And i want to thank you for teaching your kids how to love like you. Just like you they know that their family bond means everything. Just like you they are fiercely loyal. Just like you they welcome friends as family. Just like you they brighten the days of those around them just by cracking a joke or offering a hug. And just like you they are strong. They will continue your legacy of love. I'll see again someday!
