Condolence From: Lyle & Tina MK Wilcox
Condolence: No words, no matter how tender‚ can touch what you’re feeling inside. No one can soften the sorrow deep down where your heartaches reside. Still, we are thinking about you and hoping it helps in some way simply to know that we care about you and share in your sadness today.

Love & Prayers,

Condolence: Returning from the Army to civilian life, I embarked on a 40 plus year education career beginning as a rookie eighth grade teacher at Rock Creek Elementary School. There I had the pleasure of meeting Rocky. I have thought of him as well as many other of those students, considering what their dreams, achievements and contributions might be to their communities and families over the decades since. I am not surprised to learn that Rocky was committed to serving both community and his family, for that is the Rocky I envisioned those many years ago when he was an eighth grader. Rocky was studious, filled with intellectual curiosity, athletic, humorous, and very kind to others. I remember lifting weights with Rocky and some of the other boys after school in the school's old furnace room -- where we had a great many laughs. Rock Creek is loaded with countless great memories.

Many suggest that a benefit of pursuing a profession in education is that one can have a positive impact on the lives of the many students encountered over the course of a career. Personally, I think an even greater blessing is receiving the gifts and joys that students brought to me.
Such is the case with Rocky. He taught me many life lessons over the years since leaving Rock Creek: live life with appreciation, wonderment, enthusiasm, purpose, and joy. To me that is Rocky's legacy -- memories that will continue to enrich the lives of all who knew him.

Karen and Kayla, please accept my sincere condolences for your deepest loss.

Condolence: I would like to send our most heartfelt condolences to Karen, Kayla, Roger, Robert, and the rest of the Allen family. Rocky was always a special person with an addictive personality. He was always full of life, never at a loss of words and always up for a good conversation. I can’t help but to think of the conversation going on in heaven right now. We love you guys and we wish we could be there during this time of mourning. We will never forget Rocky as his memory will live on forever thru the memories he made and the friends he kept. May God Bless all of our Allen family.
