Dorothy Taggart, age 96, gone to be with the Lord on July 15, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband, Ross Arthur Taggart. She was the loving mother of Susan (William) Dyer and Sherry (David) Badger; grandmother of William Arthur (Joan) Dyer, Alissa (Michael) Anderson, and Jeffrey Ross (Elizabeth) Badger; and great-grandmother of Colin and Katelyn Anderson, Kylie and Morgan Dyer, and Juniper Badger. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was also preceded in death by parents Hulda and Arthur J. Pankratz, and brother John A. Pankratz. Dorothy was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church and loved her Joy Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening, reading, history and travel, and was a founding member of the Pink Lady Volunteers at Nashville Memorial Hospital. She and her husband enjoyed many years of square and round dancing with the Barnlofters Club. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, Tenn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Taggart will be laid to rest at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Bellevue.
