Carmen Salva Ayala was born on May 23, 1928 in Ciales, Puerto Rico. A loving mother of three and a wonderful grandmother of two is survived by Michael Ayala, Naomi Nickerson, Ronald Ayala and grandchildren Ronald Ayala Jr. and Amanda Ayala. Carmen was the light to many lives, and lived her own life filled with happiness, faith and love. Her infectious smile and beautiful soul will truly be missed by all. May she find peace and comfort above in Heaven.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 23rd at 10:00am at St. James the Apostle Church (14 Gleneida Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY) with interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. (1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt NY, 10567)
