Condolences

Condolence From: David Daugherty
Condolence: Dear Diane, Regina, Brad, Wesley, Maria, and other Barnes’ Family Members,

It was my sincere pleasure knowing Darwin. He was a dear friend and colleague. I met him initially when he was working at Lloyd’s Register, enjoyed seeing and visiting with him at Association of Corporate Counsel and other professional/social events, and was glad to get to know him even better when we worked together as Co-leaders for a Team helping individuals present and take their valuable skills to new employers through Between Jobs Ministry. Cathy and I also enjoyed going to the Houston Livestock Show with Darwin and Diane and learning even more about them and their/your family whom they would talk about with pride.

Darwin was a very kind, gracious, encouraging, supportive, and helpful good man. He inspired me with his work ethic, his devotion to his family, his volunteer work, his desire to help others, and his faith. He is and will be sorely missed. I was honored knowing him and being able to call him my friend.

It is Cathy and my prayer that God comforts you during this difficult time and beyond.

With our sincerest sympathy and deepest condolences,

David & Cathy Daugherty

Condolence From: Karen Evans Wood
Condolence: I had the privilege and honor to know, grow up with and worship with the entire Barnes family at Richey Street Baptist Church. As a child, I didn't realize that Darwin was already the kind and Godly person that he would grow into as a man. I remember his faithfulness and love for Jesus; thank you Darwin for being part of my childhood and having that 'killer' smile. God has promised that we shall see one another one day, until then... Fondly Karen and the Evans Clan
