Obituary for Robert Palframan

PALFRAMAN, Robert – It is with absolute heartbreak the family announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Palframan at the Welland Hospital. His loving family by his side, on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the age of 80. Beloved and cherished husband to Lise Palframan (married 58 years). Father to Richard Palframan (Carolyn) and Cindy Palframan. Grandfather to Kyle Palframan, Jessica Harvey and Ashley Jiggens. Great Grandfather to Allie, Carter and Hunter. Predeceased by his parents William and Mildred Palframan. Robert will be joining his brothers Ross and Don and his sisters Doreen and Hazel in heaven. Leaving behind several nieces and nephews. Robert will be dearly missed by all of his brother and sister-in-laws and their families. Robert proudly served as a Branch Manager for TD Bank for his entire career. He took tremendous pride in his position and was extremely dedicated to helping each and every client. He especially had a soft spot for his elderly clientele-often spending most of his day trying to make them happy. He took his responsibility serious and was exceptional in his role. Robert truly looked forward to his breakfasts with his buddies every Tuesday and he will be missed dearly by so many close friends. He was so proud of his 2 persian cats despite his “allergies” and would spend every spare minute with both Oscar and Oliver. The family would like to thank the staff at the Welland Hospital (ICU unit) especially Dr. Maker and nurse Alison Bilodeau for their kindness and compassion through such a difficult time. Special thanks to Dr. Gruber, Dr. Lovegrove and Dr. Willard for their professional care. During the Covid 19 restrictions the family chose to have a private viewing and service, which took place on December 16th. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made, in Robert’s name, to St. Kevin’s Church (Memorial Fund) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family sincerely thank each and every person who have touched Robert’s life. He will be dearly missed by so many. Condolences may be made to the family at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
