Obituary for Robert L. Gingrich

Robert L. Gingrich, 85, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.
Born in Hummelstown on November 26, 1930, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Mary C. Schmidt Gingrich.
Bob was a mechanic for Good’s ARCO Service, R’s Garage, Central Lincoln Mercury, and J & B Auto Repair. He was a 1948 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. Bob served with the U. S. Marine Corps in the Korean War. He was a member of the former Hummelstown VFW, and a former member and Past President of the Hummelstown Lions Club. Bob was a member of Brownstone Lodge #666, F&AM, Hershey, and Past Master of the former Spring Creek Lodge #802 F&AM, Hummelstown.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace S. Louser Gingrich, on July 7, 2008.
Bob is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Eisenhauer wife of Richard L. of Hummelstown; a granddaughter, Amy M. Eisenhauer of Elizabethville; and his other children, Gayle Walborn of Tempe, AZ, Rhonda Leidich of Camp Hill, Bonita Walters of Mt. Holly Springs, and Robert Gingrich, Jr. of San Diego, CA; one sister, Naomi Boehler of Hummelstown; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A Masonic service will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at 10:15 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment with military honors will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:30 AM with Pastor Gary S. George of Masonic Village officiating. Please do not arrive to the cemetery prior to 11:15 AM.
A memorial service will also be held for Bob on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Sell Chapel at the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, with Pastor Brian A. Farling officiating.
