Condolence: We had the opportunity to work with Dan during his time in Colorado. In addition to working with Dan, we also had the pleasure of taking some really fun motorcycle rides through the Colorado mountains on what Dan established as the annual "Red-eyed tree frog" ride. Dan was a truly great human being and was called home far too early. Our sincerest sympathies go out to his family and friends.
Condolence: During my season as a paving materials field engineer with the Tennessee DOT, Dan was a true joy to work with and be around. He was a model of how to establish and maintain quality relationships with both customers and colleagues and was constantly looking to meet the needs of his clients. He was one of the most friendly and humble asphalt industry representatives I had the privilege of meeting. I pray for peace and healing over his entire family.
Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to Dan's family. I worked with Dan at Asphalt Institute in Lexington and also at the University of Texas and have so many fond memories of those days. He was a consummate professional in all he did and contributed greatly to our work. But the main thing about Dan, it was impossible to be sad or unhappy around him. He had a whimsical sense of humor that touched all those around him. Dan you left this world entirely too soon, but a much better place nonetheless. Rest well and Godspeed old friend.
Condolence: Rest easy old friend, you deserve it. Your journey was filled with many experiences, some heartbreaking, many happy and festive, as well as, the long sought loving tranquility of family you found. The memories and stories of our adventures were enough for several lifetimes! I’m forever grateful to have had enjoined them in your company.
Condolence: Jim and I met Dan through our son, Kyle. He was living with Adam at the time while at WKU. Dan was a very fun-loving guy. And we know the story very well how he introduced Adam and Jen. Dan will be missed very much. Prayers for all of you.
