Funeral service for Mrs. Evelyn June Gibson Willingham, 81, of Anniston, will be 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel with Dr. Billy L. Harris officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Mrs. Willingham died Friday at Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Willingham was born in West Virginia and moved to Washington DC after high school where she was a clerk at the FBI headquarters. She moved to Anniston after marrying Leyden Willingham in 1954, after which she was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church for over 40 years. She loved square dancing, watching Braves baseball, cooking and baking – in which she shared her baking with others. She was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class and the Swinging Stars Square Dance Club. Mrs. Willingham was preceded in death by her husband, Leyden Willingham, a step-son, Eddie Willingham and one grandson, Eric J. Snider.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Hester and husband Mike and Lori Sills and husband Donnie; one brother, Elson J. Gibson; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be Jeramie Hurst, Chris Hurst, Donny Ray Thomas, Jerry Sills, Jeff Bradshaw, and Don Sills.
