Sonny Young, age 82 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Nashville. He was born January 9, 1929 in Schall, Arkansas to the late Claude Lee and Minnie Brown Young. He was a retired iron worker for the Iron workers of America Local # 591. He was Church of Christ, loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the local coffee clubs in Mineral Springs. He was known by his grandkids as TaTaw. He dearly loved his family especially his grandkids. Another family member that he dearly loved was his dog Turbo.

Sonny was preceded in death by his wife Edith Young in 2009.

21 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11 am. at Nashville Funeral Home with Robert Peek officiating. Interment will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6 to 8 pm.
