Tony Crecelius
Dear Phillip, Amanda, and Sarah,
I want to express to you my deepest and sincerest sympathies during this time of your loss. As you know I do know a little bit about what you are going through. When our family lost Liz, there were a few things that I want to share with you that helped me get through the heartache of our loss.
First, the love and support of family is a phenominal blessing. Seek each other's comfort now and in the future. My Church family provided and still provides love, support, and practical help like meals, and various acts of kindness. But I think the biggest comfort to you will be the knowledge that Joy is now in Heaven where she has no pain, she is experiencing pure joy and happiness, and she is in the presense of her lord, Jesus! Knowing that and knowing that you will see her again one day can make your time of grieving bearable.
I will be out of town on the day of Joy's memorial service, so I will not be able to share my thoughts and prayers to you personally, but please know, the prayers of my family are with you all.
God Bless!
