I love you Dad

Dear Dad, Every moment of my life 34 yrs, you have been there for me. One of my most earliest memories is when we lived in winnamucca, you were on call and had to leave in a lightning storm. I was SO scared you would get hurt by the flashes of light coming from the sky, I cried all night screaming for you to come back home! Another early memory was when we lived in willits, wren and I couldn't remember if we were suppose to take the bus or wait for mom to pick us up. I made the decision to walk to your work( we were in 1st and 2nd grade) the look on your face was shear terror! You weren't mad at us you were just affraid for our safety! You always were! To prove you were the best father you could be you moved us to Santa Rosa because we wanted to ice skate. You didn't stop there, you learned how to skate and performed in many competitions and ice shows. You loved having something to do with your little girls. What dad would have done that? You that's who!! You loved it do much you ran for president of the Santa Rosa figure Skating club and won because everyone loved you! You were such a great dad that our friends told you they wished their dads were like you! You wanted us to be raised with culture so you hosted Japanise exchange students for 5 summers. In that time every weekend was spent being taught to except all cultures. I never once heard you say you were to tired, you were excited to spend every waking moment with your girls! When I was about to be 16 you made sure I knew how to drive a 5 speed so that I would always be able to get home! Because of your hard work I passed my drivers test with 100% and then you bought me my first car. After the divorce to mom you tried to still give us every weekend. You were the best dad anyone could have! You stood up for me, you took pride in me and you were my best fan! I'm so glad Julia was able to have her Papa for 9 years! She was blessed by your presence almost everyday as well. When I came home from the hospital you came to our house everyday and spent most the days holding your first granddaughter. You were so proud of her! And she felt it!! You spoiled her more than you spoiled wren and I! :) she will always remember your kisses and hugs because they were always given! I miss you! I love you! You are and always will be my daddy! I know your in a better place and that comforts me when I get angry or depressed. I know you are with me at all times I can feel your presence. Your my Dad, your my Hero! I'm so thankful I had you every step of my 34 years! Love daddy's little girl, Duna
