A Rare and Talented Man

I doubt if I'll ever forget Obie. I never met anyone else who had so much talent and yet was so humble and down to earth. He seemed to be able to do anything, but never talked about his accomplishments. How could one guy fix everything, build anything, know about and understand Tesla and his inventions (and duplicate some), hunt with a bow and arrow, lead prayer meetings, build solar energy devices, run a successful business, raise a family (with the help of Sue, of course), know so many people, understand electronics, drive and use heavy equipment and machinery, read and learn so much, and be a dependable friend to everyone. How did he find time to do all that in 69 years? If all men were like Obie, the evening news would be a positive experience. He was a great Christian role model, and I know God was very pleased with him. I just wish God would have left him with us another 30 years. I would love to see what else he would have accomplished.
