Mrs. Carter was my CBE teacher in 1977/1978. She inspired many, gave us skills for life use, confidence, the importance of humor and wit and it was a joy to have known her. I am so saddened to hear of her loss. I meant to call her every time I was in Blairsville and now of course have regrets. I know that her family will miss her, she was a true gem. She will never be forgotten and I am forever grateful for all that she gave me during that short year in high school! She changed many lives and is responsible for the success of so many of us! Godspeed Mrs. Carter!!
