I will miss my childhood friend. Doris and I were in grade school at Beggs, went to the First Baptist Church, and enjoyed sleepovers and doing what girls do. Life took us in different directions as we each went our own way after we grew up, but the friendship never ended. I am saddened to learn of her passing. My deepest sympathies to all who loved her. I did get to visit with her on the phone before Jerry passed away. I was pleased that she sounded so happy. I pray that all who loved her love her God and we'll all get to see her again.
