Obituary for Laura Lee Hall (Pepler)

LIBERTY, MAINE
Laura Lee (Pepler) Hall, age 46, died on June 17, 2013 when her car was struck by an oncoming driver during her morning commute to DHHS of Augusta where she worked as a Long-Term Care Specialist. Born on September 9, 1966, Laura was a 1984 graduate of Mount View High School and was known for her great sense of humor, her artistic talent and helping bring girls soccer to MVHS. As an adult, Laura loved music, seahorses, the ocean and her dogs, Jack and Jill. She enjoyed going to concerts, drawing her own tattoos and creating unique personalized ornaments for her family every Christmas. Laura loved the Patriots and attending sporting events with her husband and son. She shared a love of the movies with her mother and a love of Nascar with her father and cherished their trips to Laconia. Laura was a vibrant, happy, loving woman whose smile lit up a room. She gave the gift of love, laughter and light to everyone around her.
Laura was loved so much by so many and will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Gerald “Jerry” Hall of Liberty, and her only son, Airman Logan Russell Esancy, an F-15 Crew Chief currently stationed in Kadena. Logan was fortunate to be home on his first personal leave in over a year-and-a-half from the USAF and was able to spend a few wonderful, happy days with his mother prior to her passing. Laura was the oldest daughter of Russell and Elaine Pepler of Liberty.
In addition to her deeply saddened husband, son and parents, Laura will be forever missed by her step-daughter, Amanda Hall and step-son Scott Hall, her sister Alicia McCormick and her husband Daniel McCormick and their children, nieces and nephews Alic, Molli, Mykayla, Dashiell, Alyssa and Eliana, her sister Melissa Libby and her children, nieces and nephews Cole, Kellian and Cassidy, her father-in-law, Gerald Hall Sr., and his wife, Joanne, her mother-in-law Martha Jane Dorman and many other close family and friends.
A celebration of Laura's life will be held at the Liberty Community Hall on Pinnacle Road in Liberty on Saturday, June 22nd at 1:00 PM. Please join us in remembering a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend.
Those who desire may make donations in Laura’s memory to: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine, 477 Congress St., Suite M1, Portland, ME, 04101.
