Words cannot express the sadness in my heart, that you are no longer with us, my friend. You filled everyone you met with happiness, laughter, and good will. You were the best anesthetist I have ever known, and you were always available to encourage newcomers to the field. I personally know of at least 5 CRNAs who went on to their chosen profession because of you. There was always a glow about you, like you knew a secret the rest of us didn't. And I will forever remember you and your encouraging words. Also the funny stories.
