Mike Cook

I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Coy at the Dome for the past 5 years. I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of his passing; and I regret that I was out of town and not able to attend his visitation and memorial service. Coy was one of those rare human beings who could light up the room (and the Dome) just by walking in and saying "How are we all doing today"? He was a friend to all who were fortunate enough know and work with him. My lasting memory of Coy will be of his last event at the Dome. It was Supercross Night, March 29. Several of us were having problems "clocking out" at 6:15 on the new system. But Coy was right there for us with the solution, and he took care of it. That's the kind of person he was...a real leader, and an inspiration to all who knew him. May God keep him, and may the peace of Jesus Christ be with his family now and always.
