Condolence From: Rebecca (Shulman) Blanken
Condolence: I will always remember Ms. Soby for her kindness, generosity and the life lessons she taught me. I was honored to be her student serving as the editor of the North Pointe in 1997-1998, Grosse Pointe North's school newspaper. I found my love of writing and leadership thanks to your mom. She was a very special lady who I was also fortunate to call my friend. May you find comfort in the memories of your mom that will live on in your heart and mind forever.

Condolence From: Benna (Schmidt) Kisin-Schultz
Condolence: Penny was a long time friend to my late husband, Gary Schmidt, and they shared a lifetime of memories. I was privileged to spend time with Penny on a number of occasions and enjoyed listening to the two of them recount some of their adventures.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother. She was a truly special lady.

Sincerely,

Benna

Condolence: Penny was my partner in crime for a group at GPN called WILLOW, at that time (Women In Leadership, Leading Other Women), that title may have changed! Her grandson, Ian, camp to Liggett Day Camp and I had the pleasure of seeing Penny's face on many days at pick up. God gained an angel who will brighten many a day! My sympathies and prayers to the family!
