It is with great sadness the family announces Basil’s sudden passing on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Beloved husband of Judith. Loving father of David and Jonathan (Cindy). Proud Pappou of Kelly, Emma and Jake. Cherished brother of Mina, Helen, Jim, Stella and George. Theio Vasili will be dearly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Rev. Basil will be fondly remembered for his love of ministry to the Greek people as Pastor and Host of the Alpha-Omega Christian Ministries Program.
Resting at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave, Markham (4 lights north of Hwy 7) (905)395-8508. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Monday, from 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Ninth Line Baptist Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25th at Calvary Church (746 Pape Ave, Toronto). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alpha-Omega Christian Ministries or Calvary Church Toronto.
